Apenuwa Temitope Daniel

Apenuwa Temitope Daniel is a remarkable individual whose intelligence and determination make him stand out. He is not just ambitious but also a relentless goal-getter. I recall him once expressing his academic standard, saying he must not see a "C" in his results again. For him, even a "B" signifies failure because an "A" is his true grade. Our friendship deepened as we discovered both similarities and differences in our personalities and preferences. We shared the distinction of earning "A"s in Directing Practical Exams, not just once but repeatedly, confirming our shared dedication to excellence. However, our creative inclinations differed—Apenuwa leaned toward modern, foreign plays, while I had a deep affinity for local and traditional themes. This contrast enriched our perspectives and strengthened our bond. Fate brought us together in a memorable project group during our undergraduate years in 2006, alongside Faturoti Tayo, Latifat Suleima

Are you tired of working 9-5?

Are You Tired Of Working  9-5?  9-5 isn't exactly the problem, rather, it is our inability to see the needs, vacuum and problems around us as a source of influence for us. You can build a city from a trash, if only you stop seeing it as a trash. Every human being is an innovator, meaning there is something you can recreate and when it blossoms, you would have reasons to quit your 9-5. Do not quit your 9-5 until you have answered the questions of Why Are You Here Who Am I? What Can I Do With My Pain? What Can I Recreate? Where Can I Go From Here? Who Can I Help Or  Who Needs What I Know? How Do I Start ? Who Needs What I Sell  ? You can start by volunteering. You can start small. You can start by writing your ideas down then pick each and be resilient in fulfilling it. Indeed, there is more that you can do, than what you do. Did you know that the focus on 9 - 5 is the major problem, we have in Nigeria and in most of the underdeveloped countries. If only, we can look deep and think

How To Improve The Minimum Wage by Metamorphosis International

Op-ed | The Nigerian Economy: Minimum wage brouhaha or Something More? Nigeria, Africa's most populous nation, is grappling with significant economic challenges. And while the government has implemented various initiatives, critics argue that a lack of clear direction and decisive action has hampered progress. The flailing efforts of the dream team are not yielding desired results at all. There is significant inflation struggling to get under control. Food, fuel and related items are flying out of reach of the ordinary man. And with this is the abandonment of fellow feeling for their neighbour, as the "all men for themselves" mentality kicks in. One of the major criticisms is the overdependence on oil revenue. The collapse in oil prices in recent years exposed the vulnerability of the Nigerian economy. Diversification into other sectors, like agriculture and manufacturing, has been slow. Centralisation of the financing of the country appears to be another huge obstacle.
