At night Tom could not sleep, after looking through his Mum’s Pictures and smiling with tears and tears rolling down his face, he got up and wrote an outstanding Proposal, a sponsorship letter and beautiful power point slides. He sent it via mail in his hotel room that midnight to Sally who seems to be also awake. 

She reviewed and gave a few pointers and corrections. Then soon agreed on a meeting. They met later that day and discussed at length about it. They decided to speak with the WHO Organisation team in Spain and they gave their promise after viewing the proposal to attend the awareness programme and also to support them with Cancer awareness booklets and a few more materials. 

It was indeed a great time. Soon Sally realized how often she calls Martins and how he rarely worries about her, yet Tom never knew how to stop calling, texting and sending her emails daily. On this particular night, Sally called Martins and told her how she missed him but his response was a bit cold, he said. “Don’t worry we all miss you, the entire Law firm misses you equally’’. They both laughed at it, but she was not so pleased with his expression. Sally called his line again a few hours later and whispered, “Martins, am really missing you”. Martins responded, ‘oh really, don’t worry we would see on your return, but please let me call you back in an hour time, I am in my study.’’ Martins went off the call, apologetically as usual but Sally could no longer pretend to enjoy the relationship. Martins would always make it up to her

That night Sally decided to be friendlier with Tom. As she dropped her call with Martins, Tom was on the other phone calling her, he had sent her messages and she had not responded. He had wanted to know her social media name and handles. They both laughed because she was more of a social media ghost. She has a profile on the most commonly used social media handles with few followers and likes yet she had no substantial presence. She only had her stethoscope as her display picture with the same name on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Sally had few friends on social media as well as in real life. She gets engrossed in the field of Medicine so much that she does not remember not having friends. Meeting with Tom has spiced up her social life in such a short time.

Tom sent her his facebook name, Instagram and Twitter handle and they both agreed to browse through each other’s social media pages and to also do a little update. That night, Sally was shocked at how life was on social media for Tom, he was a force to reckon with in his field. She was compelled to upgrade her different social media pages and also to add up a few more pictures as well as respond to the friend request's log. It was another world entirely. The next day, they spent some time together, as they created a social media page for their cancer group and followed relevant groups and individuals who had similar focus or interest. Soon they started getting streams of followers who were interested in their vision. They had to start planing a meeting in Nigeria.
