NOT MY BUSINESS

Image
DISTRACTIONS The thought of my present state ensnares me more as I write this piece, but for the distractions that abound you might just not finish your thoughts before another man’s thought yells at you.  Anyways this should not come to you as a shock, since we all awake into a world of many tales. Today you hear of an accident on the Third Mainland Bridge where a man’s leg was flung into the beautiful and inviting sea, yet his body and life was saved. This sky-blue Sea with gray décor is so inviting that in recent times we have witnessed a number of distressed people hopping into the high sea. Just tell me who is not distressed and I will point my thin little finger to the next street, where even the madman that packs his loads as though he just got a quit notice from an angry landlord is depressed.  We are all just packaging, you think I lie and I will ride with you to view Tonto Dike and her comment on how she was impressing people on social media wi...

Dangote SUGAR: Where is your SUGAR?

Yesterday was not just another day but it was a very beautiful day. It truly was remarkable for me in many ways. One reason I say this, is because we naturally celebrate birthdays. When a child is born we celebrate the child likewise when an idea is born we should celebrate it. Yes! We should give applaud to the great giver. Such is the same that befall us all We all birth ideas We all view things We all dream on and on But how many do we celebrate How many do we liberate How many of our ideas have we grown And grown beyond us Like seeds the great creator Drops each seed in the soil of our hearts Like a farmer sowing He wonders when we would grow it Yet he hears our desire for harvest Why seek harvest when the seed Is in your hands No seed grows alive I call you today to think Apple And Steve Jobs would answer Call Facebook and Mark Zukerberg will answer Call Microsoft and Bill Gate will answer Call Sugar and Cement and Dangote will answer If you call you...

May be like some people would say ,"She might have dated her husband & trashed him as a boyfriend long ago". Now she is in her mid 30's and indifferent about settling down even though her parents are not directly frustrating her to get married but they call her every day to pray for her so she can find a good husband. They also speak with her Aunties to encourage to settle down. It so happened that Toke has diverted her energy on her career and her humanitarian services. Then a young man Collins 38, shows up from the moon and said he met her 3 years ago, at a Cafe where she had gone to send a mail. He reminded her that they exchanged num...

BEDROOM STEALING

Image
However, we need to note that daily SEX is not enough to convince a man to put a ring on your finger... Ladies need to stop co-habiting. Let us follow due process. We say the government is corrupt yet we are all stealing in one way or the other. When your bride price is yet to be paid and you are engaging in premarital sex, suffix to say you are stealing. Gone a the days when a white hand kerchief symbolized the joining of a couple. In those days a man would be made to go through all sought of challenges in other to marry a lady. The lady in turn will only be allowed to see his bed or sit on the bed after the bride price has been paid. Now civilization has summarized the whole process and a lady can habour a young man in her home and be cooking for him, doing his laundry and attending to his sexual pleasures yet he will still be contemplating whether she is good enough for him.  I call it stealing because, you did not get proper consent of the parents. Once...

It was a beautiful Wednesday Morning and when I say beautiful, I mean it was a morning that leaves you with so much memories. It happened that was at a meeting with some notable Public Speakers and while we were all networking I noticed that one of the shock on the face of one the speakers. The button on his suit button has suddenly fallen off and the next logical thing was either to fix it or go home. Going home was not a good option, as he still had other meetings to attend. Then he asked for a needle, fortunately a young woman who seem too noble to have such an item, affirmatively responded and there was a great relief.  I helped in threading the needle but as I was about collecting the Suit to fix the button, this respected Orator, shocked me. He politely demanded for his suit, with the intention of tacking the button by himself and my stare met his. I wondered how and when he learnt to sow. The young woman, that sat next to us, responded with a smile, she stated th...

Image
A crush is simply regarded as someone you are attracted to or who is attracted to you. There is need to note, that not all crush leads to a promising relationship. Some crush build up likeness which may only stop at the level of friendship, as the persons involved may not be bold enough to confront their fears and speak up until the lady is taken by another. Most times, these young men are either too afraid to speak because of your intelligence, your attitude, your charisma, the impression or information they have about you, inferiority or superiority complex. Many people take the first smile that is reciprocated by an admirer, as a nudge to proceed, meanwhile this nudge might be met with a odd stare hence making the young man have a re-strategise or give up.  Now dealing with your crush, does not have a straight Jacket answer.
