Today I seek to speak on INTEGRITY...

It sometimes baffles me when i see some people carried away by the present and when tomorrow seems to lack weight to them.

Young Awin was giving an opportunity to supply some goods to some selected stores in Lagos state. Awin had tried hard to get a decent job to no avail. Despite his degree, his good heart and his good communication skill, Awin was never fortunate to get a decent Job. Awin almost gave up on working, when He met Mr Drill, Mr Drill agreed to make Awin one of his distributors. Awin became glad that he would have a source of income at last. Everyone commented on Awin’s dedication to work. His punctuality and loyalty to the work gave him more favour with Mr Drill.

However, it happened that Awin was to supply packs of Toilet Papers weekly to different stores on the mainland. Soon Mr Drill was impressed by Awin's efficiency and he considered making Awin the Manager of one his Factories. Everyone wondered but had to support the idea as Awin was a man of good heart, caring and respectful. The Joy of this promotion was thwarted when news got to the head office that Awin had always delivered less volume of goods to the stores he was assigned to.

When Mr Drill heard of these he never believed it, he only said necessary investigations would expose any fraudulent staff. Instead he continued with the promotion plans of Awin and assigned him a driver, an assistant and all that comes with the new office. But it was not long before Mr Drill found out the truth by himself. Mr Drill developed a shock as a result and on his Hospital bed. He ordered the sack of Awin and the return of all company possession. The company board requested that Awin be prosecuted but Mr Drill says no. He told them “only Posterity judges a man without integrity: as the consequence of his works would always live with him” Buffalo Bill Opines that a man must be “True to a friend and foe”.
