It is indeed interesting to find out that one can actually employ some tricks to know if a Guy or Babe is a wife material. Instead of taking home the "untake-able" all in the name of “Take home to Mama”. Many young people have had to break up with the right person while they have joyfully taken home the wrong package and with this type of marriage, comes some swift divorce. Compatibility test differ from persons to persons. 

In those days families, distant relative and  village members are employed or consulted before the “ YES I DO” but now love , money , fame, religion and others to mention a few, have gone ahead of research. 

This process might seem long or archaic but it has proved to be helpful.  Back in the day, a member of the groom/ bride’s family would stroll into the supposed bride’s village to ask about the family history: their marriages, their character, history of bad omen, character, are they hardworking or lazy people, achievements and so on. 

With the information they get they would make up their mind whether or not to allow their son marry into that family. Some tricks are also played to check if the lady is cultured like watching her serve her guest especially the groom to be, watching her relate in public and a host of others. Today you would find a beautiful lady with tongues that can chases away angels. Character deficiency plus beauty can be simply regarded as commotion.  Some guys would tell you the situation in the country made me steal... integrity issue. Love of money is the root of all evil.

Often times we clamour for adequate research when studying a course in school, when writing on a subject of discussion or when one is proposing a business, about to shoot a movie and much more. But how come some marriages are consulted with little or adequate research has in recent times increase the rate of divorce and broken homes.

Today’s issue of discourse enlightens us on some tricks people have either played or can play to check the tolerance level of once partner or to determine if the person in question is a suitable partner.

I had girlfriends before i got married and the tricks i played are as follow: I scattered the house few hours to the arrival of my girlfriend and the moment she came in she was shocked to see my apartment in that state. Then i was watching her reaction. Indeed the house looked like an hurricane had passed by. She first asked me what happened and i told her i was looking for some documents. But before i could say anything she had started rearranging it.

The second trick was that i requested that i needed to see my second girlfriend and few minutes to her arrival i packed almost all my wardrobe out and soaked a few dirty ones. She came in and saw me washing. Of course the clothes were enough to make a laundry man resign. She then looked at me and said she needed to get to the highland but would be back shortly. I responded that no problem that by the time she is back i would have finished washing then we can hang out. There and then i knew she would leave me if i was in deep trouble.

Comfort.  Banker I sincerely like the idea of tricks and research but one thing i advocate for, is the understanding of the personality of the person you are dating. One man's meat is another man's poison so there is a need for you to first learn about this person before any trick. Another thing to consider before planning a trick, is how you also present yourself. A saying in pidgin says, "Na as goat stand for market them dey price am.


George As at the time i was dating this beautiful lady, i was staying in a two bedroom apartment. But the day i knew she was coming i moved my clothes into an empty room and left my bed and other things in the second room. When she came i told her i stay with my uncle and that all i had was the met, on which sleep at night. We both sat on stools while she was around. I was very shocked to see a ready made wooden bed by my door the next month. It was then i realized i needed to start planning my future with her. Of course her attitude was satisfactory.

Then you can wait to see her reaction. A woman who love you and is meant to be your wife will stand by you all through your challenges....

My friend, there is no specific TRICK or formula to know a wife material . The reason is that anyone can pretend  to achieve their mission likewise the men folks. So just be cautious in your relationship.

Dammy Business Consultant *** I would Pretend i am broke then if she offers to pay for some things, I would then watch to know how selfless she Is.

Another thing I would do is, to access her by giving her the remote to the TV, if she doesn't watch the popular TV soap called "Zee world", Africa Magic Family Channel or TeleMundo. Then she is a wife material.Now if she watches CNN, the normal Hollywood movies, Discovery Channels, Nat Geo Wild  etc. In this case, she is to be kept for life .

I will tell her I have a challenge with potency due to an accident i once had. But I that have been on a medication & that Doctor says it's a 50/ 50 chance. Then I would watch her reaction. This is because if i love a lady and she confides in me about her past abortions, I can forgive her, marry her & not cheat on her, so if she can't do the same then we don't have much business together.

Some ladies pretend too much and might even impress you and may score high in your tricks and tests. So I am not in tune with tricks. I only follow my instinct and God help you to deceive me... because i will find you out.

 A woman who is regarded as wife material, does not place more value on money, compared to other things. Instead she would regard love above everything. More so,a good wife should never be materialistic in nature. In my view she is always simple and not flamboyant,  a good cook and a home maker. Any woman that can't cook well is not worthy of a wife.

I will tell her i have kept 25k as a gift on the table for her. Meanwhile I would have kept 28k there. I will try this a number of times to test her integrity.

I would tell him one of my friends suggest since her two children were failing WAEC that someone write for them and that i feel there is no big deal about it and wait for his response.

Or I could tell him i was offered some money in my office as part of some excess contract funds or miscellaneous funds and that am thinking we could use the money to buy a land at Ibeju Lekki.

Sleem

But if she let's dishes pile up in the kitchen or leaves unwashed dishes over night....that's a big NO for me. I am very domesticated so I don't need a woman to clean up for me because my house is always tidy.

Tokunbo  I would tell him my first time at sex got me into the risk of abortion and trauma in bed. In which case the surgery was for my first love and it was 3 times. So now i have the fear of lovemaking and conception. After saying this i would start crying as i await his reaction.

Jane.

I played a trick on my ex & it helped me to end the relationship and it still hurts. The truth is very bitter, they say, so please mind your trick. I can't share mine because the my guy's nature and upbringing defers from yours. Hence the need to be prepared for whatever comes with the trick.

I would tell her i love to marry her but she might need to stay in our family house for two to three years after wedding, due to some family challenges. Then I would watch her reaction.

Tricks are interesting and good but you need to plan it well, haven studied your partner. For me, I will tell him that i love him but that at the moment am in a relationship with a man of my dad's age but that if he truly love me i would forgo the relationship.

I would tell him i have a secret and that i once had an operation that affected my kidney hence i am not sure of the future.

I would tell her we would settle down in Lagos but first we both have to relocate to the village to care for my sick parents, especially my Mum who needs someone to bath and attend to her.
